Brought these mangrove pods back from my trip to Florida a month ago. I put a few in my refugium in the rock work above a layer of sand Fiji mud and a few directly in Fiji mud in my sump. The ones that went directly into the mud have been growing thin white roots pretty well and interestingly enough the roots are growing upwards out of the mud as seen in the picture. Can anybody shed some light on this?
