In Holland this anemone is offered as a gold / Rasta gig. Quite a steep price. According to seller in excellent health. Seems to be a gig. I just don’t know what to make of the color and how it would look under my lights. First picture according to seller under white light, then blue without filter and blue with filter. The shop is about 3.5 hours driving away. Anyone seen similarly colored gig before?

That is not a Gigantea. Ask for a picture of the column.

I received a video in heavy blue light but seems the verrucae go down all the way to the foot. Does this confirm this is a mertensii?
Added some screenshots from the video below .

Can I safely mix mertensii with my established gigantea?

The verrucae definitely look like that of a mertensii. Definitely not gigantea or haddoni.

Regarding your question about mixing, it depends on what you mean by that. If you mean can a healthy mertensii and gigantea co-exist, yes they definitely can. But I would wait for the mertensii to acclimate in a separate tank to ensure that it's healthy before mixing the two together in the same tank.
