When I do mine, I'm going to try and find the weirdest bottles I can, so stuff like exotic rum bottles are not off the table. ;)
I just really want it to look... Old. So I'll try to find some old fashioned coke bottles and stuff like that. I don't want to have much of any clear glass, I feel it would take much longer to look settled, so I'll be looking for colored glass (wine bottles and such) as they may look a bit better overall. Colored would also allow fish to hide within them, which is a big plus for me.
Anybody know of some weird looking bottles I should keep an eye out for? I'd like to formulate a list of what to generally get before I go shopping cluelessly lol.
Have you ever seen those old vials that medication was put in? Some had the droppers in them? Or for some reason I think of decanters as being old? Anything sealed with a cork or a stopper I associate with being old haha

I'm currently using an antique Polynesian wine bottle, a little round blue bottle that was sealed with a cork. I'm trying to coat the whole thing in Leptoseris right now, not sure if I want to try a graft or just go for a full coating of orange.

Word of caution when adding a bottle make sure if any critters can climb in they can climb out. I covered the inside with mortar just to make sure. I also placed the bottle in such a way that critters can get out.
