FTS update

I love that you have only enough room between the BN and the glass to run your mag through . I can imagine you run that through sometimes and it sounds like a pistol shrimp clicking away, but it's actually BN frags in the making. Successful reef keeping problems....overgrown corals!!!

No backup system during outage?

I use a 12volt dc/ac convertor connecter to a car battery to power 1 streamer in such cases.

I lost a Kole Tang, and a small frag of acropora. This was over a 20 hour outage during a huge snow storm. I live in the Mountains and the temperature outside dropped to around 10 degrees. Inside the Ambient temperature was ~45 degrees. I used an insulated blanket and covered the aquarium to retain as much heat as possible, but it still dropped to 50 degrees before the power came back on. All animals were visibly stressed, and it took around 10 days or so for them to fully recover (eating, growing etc). I had no backup for water circulation or heat, which I'm reviewing now.

No waterchanges for 13,5 years now!
Most people still think it's NOT done.

That's a whole story.
Dosings are tank(size) specific. You can not project this directly to another tank(size).

I've Googled them and the big sellers don't carry it. Some even say 'discontinued'.
