I've Googled them and the big sellers don't carry it. Some even say 'discontinued'.
Pitty ... that's why DSR will not take off out there. No products to support it.
That's why made my products available in the netherlands. No products means, no method to apply.

I have used one with a DSB for along time and dismanteled it a few years ago.

it take up unnecessary space, while i see no advantage in it.

My though is: Why use things which have no additional value and take up space?
It may only fail or breakdown.

This is all i need
Glen...what's your thoughts on using a refugium...are you not because it's using so many nutrients?

There are more efficient and controlable way of doing that. But if you don't have the knowhow and means, it will do just fine. Just like algea filters and ATS.

I found out they are all just to much maintenance for myself.
I am always looking to improve on sustainability, by saving time, energy, space and resources spend.

Well the additional value of having a refugium is for nutrient export isn't it?

Been reading through your thread. Wow! Outstanding. I saw your t5 bulb combo as of 2016. Has it changed since then or are you still using just the Blue plus and the Giesman? Sure is something to aspire to.

My #EZ200 tank @Midnight
3 months old with zero waterchanges
Started with recycled excess LR which was just sitting in the garden for a few year now.
I also used tap water to fill the tank, just because i could. Just to add a extra challenge. Or just being lazy[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]..
Within 2 week from 20ppm/0,24ppm 0,2ppm/0,03ppm with EZcarbon dosing and some phosrem used.

Demanding LPS species ???
I don't think so...[emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]
After a few week these are nearly exploding

Haven't had the chance to go through the whole thread yet but how do you raise and lower your lights for working on the tank? I have the same type of canopy, and trying to figure out how to hang it so I can get in and out of the tank.

Old fashion manual lifting and placing it on the bloks/beams for working on both sides.
