Gloves Recommendation

Howdy! I’d like to start wearing gloves when working in/with my tank and livestock.

Are standard nitrile gloves reef safe? I’d like to buy a box of gloves off Amazon and am looking for recommendations. Not looking for something arm length, just to cover my hands.

I don't quite understand the point of wearing a hand-only gloves if you're trying to keep what's on your skin out of the tank. if just trying not to touch things with your skin that makes sense but anytime I have worn a glove into my tank as soon as you pull your hand out, the water from your tank is in the glove and dumps back into the tank.

Wear a smaler glove. For the tank, I like them to feel just a bit too tight. In my shop, I wear an appropriate size glove.

It's more for the things I touch/handle directly. Tight-fitting exam gloves was what I wanted to get just wasn't sure if regular nitrile gloves are reef-safe. Sounds like so long as they are powder-free, they are OK to use.

I got the shoulder length yellow nitrile gloves from amazon, one of my best buys ever. They are very sturdy, and big enough for someone 6'2".

If my arms are in the tank I use these
Amazon product ASIN B001PBEJ0AClown has started biting the crap out of me and they fit well and have held up for about a month now where others I have had break on me within a month...

If its just my hands or I recently washed up and working in my nano/fragging/ect I use these
Amazon product ASIN B01G346K7II like the texture which gives some additional grip when holding plugs and extra thickness that easily stops bristleworms or pointy things. I tried 4 mil and they worked too but 2 mil are too thin for me for tank work. I do use some cheap 2 mil nitrile for non-fish related or small tasks.
