Any thoughts on the glowrium saltwater lights for a 20 gallon long? The specs looks like it gives good PAR at 12 inches… but I can’t afford a fancy light like the AP9X lol….

AP9x would be way overkill for a 20 long. What’s your budget and what are you trying to grow?

Well I’m looking just mostly do a two clowns, zoas and acans, a RFA or BTA, and maybe a couple other fish. Nothing crazy overstocked. But I REALLY love the acans lol no acros for me

I don’t know anything about that light l/haven’t seen anyone use it, but I know these are some tried and true options that would do you right on the lower price end:

Kessil A80. Excellent shimmer, superior color development: https://amzn.to/3wCF0bP

Noopsyche. Excellent all around budget option with plenty of spread: https://noopsychereeflight.com/products/k7-pro-iii-full-set-aquarium-led-coral-light
You rock! Thank you!

For the kessil would I need two since it’s so small? My tank is 30 inches wide and 12 inches deep so I wanna make sure there’s no dark spots.

Yes, if you wanna rock with Kessils two would be best for your size tank. But if budget is strict, the Noopsyche is excellent. You can grow anything you want with that as well.

Get a blade! I have the same tank footprint as a 20 long. 6 inches taller though. I have a 29 gallon and a 30" blade.

I think the next size down would work well for you.

I feel like a broken record... with all that I would still recommend ReeFi

I have a Glowrium light on my 40b right now and even at 65% it produces an immense amount of light ,hopefully up to what its advertised as, but my lps are happy as can be with it.

I tried a 140w smatfarm g6 light too but setting it up was not as easy as the glowrium one.

Heres a photo from when i was first setting up the 40b. Since then i have rearranged my rock work but the light gives great coverage despite changes.

There is a thread here about the Glowrium already. Seems to be a pretty good light with a nice, spectrometer verified blue spectrum. Might want to read through that thread.
