Did you hear Maddons first comment during his post game interview? "My first thought is that we did not suck"! Such classic Madden!
My dad was born in Chicago 3 years after the Cubs last played in the World Series. It's something he never got to see. I was born in Chicago in 1971. I wasn't sure I would ever get to see this. It is absolutely amazing that it is happening this year!

Sheen (along with a ton of fans) were trying to have him throw out the first pitch of game 1. The Indians declined saying they already had everybody already picked out. I think it would have been great :-) )

I saw that, too. I'm not a Sheen fan, but that would have been a great start to the World Series. Having him running out of the bullpen to Wild Thing to throw out the first pitch would have been epic!

I don't know if it is true or not but the local news reported that two of the Indians (can't remember which two) actually set up a locker between them with their own Jobu, that they (and the rest of the team) left sacrifices for :) Come on, we are destined to win.....the Cavs are receiving their championship rings on the same night as Game 1, across the street. If only we can convince some of the Cavs and Indians to try out for the Browns :-(

I felt the same way , I am a KC royals fan, never thought I would see the royals play in a world series. When they lost in 2014 to thr giants in game 7, I was crushed as I thought it would never happen again. Then 2016 came and royals went back to the show and won it all.
Congrats to the Cubs fans, I'm rooting for y'all!

My son and I bought in on one quarter of the season, now we have two seats to Saturdays game. A Cubs sweep would be perfect.
