Madden has been talking about the pressure these kids have been under all year. I agree they don't care about the curse, that is a fan thing. They are human and must be feeling the pressure. I think this is one reason why they have struggled with hitting early in the last two series.
However, now that they have made it to game 7, I really like their chances. I don't care who is pitching against them, if this young team has the confidence they displayed last night they will be very tough to beat.

It like a holiday or I would bet half of Chicago is going to call off sick this evening;), and if the win it will be a city wide holiday for at least 4 days

This is one of the few times in my life that I regret moving away from Chicago. Sure wish I were there right now!
