Now I’m watching the pirates (pronounced like Pilates) and the cardinals. No matter what, the cubs will be tied for first when the day is done. I love this game. :cool:

Definitely weird seeing it empty. Marlins attendance hasn’t changed much. I like the crowd noise. I’m not sure how the players feel about it, but it just sounds better to me. Hendricks is the front runner for the CY just like that. 9ks, 0bb, 3 hit complete game and just over 100 pitches.

Just tried to fire up los gigantes and dodgers and I’m blacked out. I expect it in a normal season, but I’m paying full price for the mlb package. There shouldn’t be any blackouts. Nerds.

Wasn’t so good. Yu didn’t bring it, but the bigger problem was the bullpen. The offense wasn’t great. Flashback to the past couple years today.

I stuck around through the "lean" years when Mike Pagliarulo was considered an awesome player.
(I even got to see, live, Luis Sojo hit one of his 3 career home runs. LOL)

THAT being said.......When the Cubbies are doing well...…..Im on the train.
I always had a special place in my heart for the ivy covered brick wall and nothing but day games.
Times may change, but, when the Cubs are doing well, I sit up and take notice and root for them.
Its easy since theyre in the "other" league.
;)

Also, like fans of the Yanks and Red Sawks, Cubs fans are die HARD!

You got to love the game and the long history. I root for other teams all the time. If my team can’t make me happy, I’m cheering for other folks to be happy. Weird not having fans in the stands. The Marlins situation has me doubtful about completing the season, but I’m hoping we can all enjoy this short season. We’ll just have to wait and see.
