My gold torch (one of my favorite LPS) is losing tissue around its base.. I have no clue why?..any advice to help it rebound and recover?

I have no pics as im at work

Parm.
cal 450
mag 1350
alk 9.6
sal 1.025
phos undect
nit " "
nitrate 2

only major change was rasing salinity from 1.023-1.025

Did you just purchase it? Is it getting direct flow? The flow may be irritating the tissue. Also try feeding mysis. Another issue may be lighting...it could be getting too much if you have MH.

I moved it about 8" in more direct light..moved it back last night..Ive had the Torch for 2 months now , and its been doing great!...

A friend of mine suggested putting slits into a quart container and putting it over it for a few days to block flow// Thoughts??

i didnt move it up..i just moved it over..I have a 135gl 6' tank..moving it 8" mabey increased the par by 50..nothing drastic. mabey 10-15% more flow than it was org. getting..

Running 3 250w 14k with blue wave ballist
