They’d likely get along fairly well long term, but I’d personally also be adding a multicolour with them (just becauseboth these angelfish added to a 120gallon footprint tank at the same time whats the chances they get along long term
)dang that was my fav guess ima have to skip then abyss have 1 in atmThey’d likely get along fairly well long term, but I’d personally also be adding a multicolour with them (just because)
A warning though, the joculator can be difficult to come across in the UK, a few have surfaced in the last few months but they don’t always last long. I believe they are a cooler water species (it’s been a while since I’ve looked into these guys) so the tank temperature may have to drop below a certain level long term.
you sure about them being cooler water everywhere i am looking says 72-78?They’d likely get along fairly well long term, but I’d personally also be adding a multicolour with them (just because)

Im not 100% certain, however from memory they’re a deeper water species and rarely found in shallow regions. I’d probably say they’re more temperate species like the Blue Spotted Jawfish and Catalina Gobies.you sure about them being cooler water everywhere i am looking says 72-78?
apparently they are found 15 meters to 70 meters down apparently even this deep down the water is 22–24°C but ill have too do more research on this thanks for bringing it too my attention maybe just saved me alot of money lolIm not 100% certain, however from memory they’re a deeper water species and rarely found in shallow regions. Personally, I’ve always treated these guys much like Femininus and Lennardi Wrasses (two species where everywhere says they are warm water but I’ve done some things with them which definitely show otherwise).
Definitely look into it, I can’t find any of my Angel books as of yet to try find more information about their origins and temperatures.apparently they are found 15 meters to 70 meters down apparently even this deep down the water is 22–24°C but ill have too do more research on this thanks for bringing it too my attention maybe just saved me alot of money lol
when u find ur angel books have a look let me know cheersDefinitely look into it, I can’t find any of my Angel books as of yet to try find more information about their origins and temperatures.
I know some other fish from those depths can be temperate species due to coldwater upwelling and other processes which occur.
