Can anyone tell me what they used for their brute can mixing station station to 1/4" tubing connections?

I got some bulk heads that were supposed to do exactly that... but they leak and if you tighten them to even close to snug they skip back a thread.... plus no washer. And they leaked on the quick connect to the tubing as well. Total crap.

I don't mind buying a 1/2" bulkhead and a 1/2" in to 1/4" quick connect adapter. I just don't want the thing to leak. Lol

I'd mount THIS on your Brute and screw THIS into it. Don't forget to use plenty of Teflon tape - 7-8 layers.
Ok, thanks. That bulkhead is what I ordered earlier today, but from Amazon. Same one I think. Then got those push connect to 1/2 inch male, but the john guest version. Went cheap the first time and the cheapies... were cheap. Lol

I go through the lid with all the bulkheads. Nothing through the sides of the can. There are more photos like these on my build thread starting at post 116. Thread is here https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/canopy-and-stand-build-for-42-gallon-hex-tank.317822/page-6

Thanks, but I wanted to go throught the side to run a tube like they did in the OP pic so I could measure how much water is in the can. Makes getting the salinity right easy when mixing it. Got it all set up and works great.

That sounds good but I have pressure sensors that will give me an idea how much is in the tank. The transfer from mixing tank to the fresh saltwater tank is automated and the mix tank refills with DI water from the RODi tank so i always have a full mix tank to add the salt mix to. The screenshot below has the read backs for all the storage tanks. It is in % full on the level readings.
