Whats a good community wrasse for an 80x40x50cm(42 gallon),six line is too agressive,pink-streaked and possum isnt available in my area.

One of the pygmy wrasses is your only real option in a tank that small. If you're unable to source those, maybe look at some other smaller active fish as possible alternatives. Maybe look at the group of pseudochromis fish as a possible wrasse-like fish that could work in there. Maybe the orchid dottyback would be a good one. You could also look at something like one of the assessors, but those tend to be more cryptic in my experience.

Possum wrasses (genus: Wetmorella) would be a great wrasse.

  • Wetmorella albofasciata - Starry Eyed Possum Wrasse
  • Wetmorella nigropinnata - Yellow Banded Possum Wrasse
  • Wetmorella Tanakai - Tanaka’s Possum Wrasse

They all max out around 2~3” which work within your tank constraints.

They also have the potential for pest control. I had a Yellow Banded Possum Wrasse in a small frag setup that actively hunted for pests, but it’s on an individual basis.
