Good Morning! There was a sewage pipe that burst next to a road near my house (fortunately we were upwind) and it made a HUGE poop pond. Very nice stuff. Tankers came to suck it all up and the guy here is sitting right over the opening to thousands of gallons of raw sewage. He was there all afternoon! How can anyone survive that?
He's probably dead now.

We don’t have sewage out here in “the sticks”. We have a septic tank which we have serviced about every 4 years.
I can’t be anywhere near that underground tank when he opens the top to siphon it out but the guy is always un phased by it.
Its an exciting day when the “STOOL BUS” shows up!

Good Morning! taking a drive this morning, my alarm just started the opening notes of Black Dog by Led Zeppelin.
i snoozed it so i can hear it again. on the topic of the day some are born with a weak sense of smell but most have it deadened by exposure to sulfides. that is temporary but effective. unfortunately the person misted with hog manure water cannot smell it but the people at the bank can, as they move away.

Yesterday I had to go to my Doctor to renew a prescription. While I was there he gave me a flu shot. Then in the other arm he gave me a pneumonia shot.

He then wanted to give me a shingles shot.
Luckily I ran out of arms.

I asked, don't you have had to have Chicken Pox to get shingles? I never had chicken pox.
He said, I can give you chicken pox, then I can give you a shingles shot.

I wondered, is Home Depot having a sale on Chicken Pox vaccines? Does that make any sense to you? :rolleyes:

Good Morning All!
Looks to be a nice day here today, mid 60’s.
I may even treat my truck to a trip to the coin op car wash to blast some of the filth off of it. I used to keep it detailed but it’s probably been 8 or 10 months since it’s even been rinsed off.
Its also safe, weather wise, to pull the fans out of the hen house, clean them off and put them away for the winter. I figure while I’m out there, I’ll get Christmas down out of the loft. Our tree goes up the day after Thanksgiving.

Good morning all. I'm reminded everyday, get a generator. I remind my husband everyday, we need a generator. Over a year now and he has yet to find ones he wants... I guess I need to pick it.

Anyhow, life feels so short. My little one, it was like I brought him home yesterday. He's almost 3. He's finally resumed his relationship with the dog. I haven't seen her so happy in months. She's 9 months older than him. But loved him from day one, never left his side. She never had separation anxiety until after he was born. She can't understand why he tells her to go away, why he wont share toys or play. She would come over to me and hang her head. As if her heart was broken. I am always willing to play with her, I guess it isn't the same.

Yesterday, my son grabbed a tug toy and they both went crazy. She sounded like a giant bear getting ready to maul another bear. I just sat back and watched how happy a boy with his dog can be. Life is precious. It slips so quickly from us.

It's looking to me like in 2 more generations many humans will not be able to figure out how to press the lever to get the food pellets to come out.
The company Jill works for, in appreciation of 30 years of service and her looming retirement has her working every night shift.
Got in another thread arguing with people who have never done anything and say so but tell me I am wrong when I tell them how. They show you pics of things that wont work. But, but, but picture. Never again. There is no incentive.
In fact it happened twice yesterday. Go make that, it will be a learning experience.
