an adventure getting there.
hour ride, once you're off pavement, down a dirt road that turns to sand as you get closer to the lake.
road thins out the closer you get so either you pull off or oncoming traffic does to get by each other.
road didn't open till early june this year due to washout from melting snow. :cool:

I saw a video where a lift was not running and a water main was busted directly under a chair with people on it. That might have been the worst experience ever.

The lighthouse pictures are great!! I need to visit every single one of them. ;Happy Here's one more. I could probably put up 100 or so lighthouse pictures, but I'll refrain myself! We were making the Cape Cod lighthouse rounds and I was standing in front of this one, taking my usual pictures. All of a sudden it hit me that I was standing in front of the lighthouse on the Cape Cod Potato Chips bag (and I like potato chips)! ;Joyful

Tore my tank completely apart yesterday to catch a bully fish. Pretty much successful with the exception of my melanarus wrasse. RIP little buddy.

Mornin’ All!
Busy day here also. Drs appt , get some groceries in the house, Tractor Supply for food for “the girls”, post office, etc, etc, etc.
Got some new spikes growing on some of my orchids. At least 3 of them will be in bloom in about a month. Right now, none of them have flowers. The grow lamps have been cut back to 10 hours a day. By the middle of February, I’ll start ramping them back up and should have everything in bloom by early May.

Good morning. Dentist cleaning appointment this morning. Then going to finally get my new light up today.

Good Morning! It's down right hot here this morning at 24. Supposed to reach 32 today, and 36 tomorrow. The good news is it's not going to be windy. Wind melts snow faster than heat. It's my last week of two jobs for the next few months. I'm looking forward to getting some things done that I have been putting off. Have a great day and stay safe!
