Awesome! Knew a guy that was a pilot and owned his own plane while we lived there. He was wanting to take me up so he could show me all the bears. I thought about it until he told me about the one time he crashed and walked away. Murphy visits me often and i decided....nahhh!

I’ve only seen them before season opens ;Facepalm they never show up during the season. Here’s one I saw a week before bear opened... He was lucky!

My dad got a bear about a month or so ago, 350 pounder!!

I’ve only had it in chilli before. Unfortunately I’m now allergic to the meat of any mammal thanks to certain chigger bites. It’s called Alpha-Gal allergy if you haven’t heard of it. Mainly caused by Lonestar Tick bites. Becoming increasingly common in the Southwest. ;Blackeye

Man ticks are evil. I get covered and bit constantly by ticks and mosquito. Never herd of Alpha-Gal but will look into it

I've heard of this. Talk about the worst! Allergic to meat? I might drown myself in my tank if I could never eat meat again! :eek:

It’s the worst. I got it in Sept 2015 while taking out my tree stand ;Facepalm

Now I hunt out of spite ;Punch my buddies appreciate all of the meat :D

On the plus side - living at the beach provides great seafood. If I still lived in Kansas near my grandpa cattle ranch I would have my head at the bottom of my reef tank ;Dead

Well this morning is been a doozy! Wife had Remi on the bed with her this morning and the pup fell off the bed. She was whimpering and favoring her hind leg. I'm off to the vet to get her checked out. Hope she's okay.
