Good Morning!

Greetings! I guess i turned over and went back to dreamland once more than i thought, could have sworn i got up at 10:30 lol. the birdbath was empty this morning, wonder if there is some moonlight skinny dipping going on? i'd set up a trail cam but i respect their privacy. i wonder if i should put out heated towel racks. ohhh wait, thermal dust bowl!!

Good day all! Along the lines of the birdbaths and warmers, I saw that Elon Musk's new internet satellite dishes are heated in the winter and animals are now sitting on them all day and curling up for the night, ruining reception. Oops!

Good Morning!
Looks to be another warm(ish) day here today. Gonna hit the low 50’s.
Running into town this morning to pick up some fresh vegi’s for “the girls”, trip to the Post Office to drop off some packages for Angela then I might try to work on the Jeep after it warms up. I’m removing all of the factory decals off of it (Wrangler Unlimited Sport) for a cleaner look. They have been baking on there since 2014 so I’ll need to find my heat gun to soften them up. Most likely, they will leave a “ghost” in the paint so I’ll have to color sand and buff that area.
Have a great day Everyone.

good Morning! i guess there are only so many days i can sleep til noon,,, in a row, lol. i might be back at it tomorrow, if i was a furry maybe that would be a bear. i would totally hibernate, i have the "gain fat in the fall" thing down already but am sure it is September somewhere all the time, thanks Jimmy Buffett! Enjoy your Hump Eve!

Good morning! Procedure went well...all 5 hours of it. How can that be outpatient?? We knew we were dealing with a tumor (sinus), but wouldn't know if it was sinister or not until pathology took a look in the operating room. BENIGN!! It was a large resection and the tumor had lots of "roots," so the recurrence rate can be high. It generally stays benign, so we'll just cross that bridge when we come to it. All around, it was good news other than husband feels like he's been run over by a bus...rightfully so.

I'm working short days this week, so I can be off when I need to. Thank you for all the cyberhugs. :) Have a great day!

I am in New York.......How long are your cables?
I will have to look. Perhaps licking my finger and sticking it in the light socket is a better option.

I made the mistake of thinking about everything I would like to fix all at once.

Fix #1
My water level is too high since I glued the new weir in. I am getting a huge amount of salt creep all over the top of the tank. I need to lower the water level 1/2-3/4 of an inch.

Do over? I don't think I could get it off without breaking it. They aren't cheap and I would have to wait to have one made.

Coping saw. Cut every other tooth out of the weir. If it doesn't work I am back where I started getting a new one and doing it over.

I solved this on my 65 display using a dremel tool with a carbide burr. Just lengthened each tooth downward by 1/2" and water level is perfect. I just lowered the water level and put a shop vac on the backside as I cut. Mine is rimless so a high water level was a constant pain in the bottom.

I cut out every other tooth with the Dremel. I skimmed out the floating plastic with a brine shrimp net. I have the tops in the shower so I can get the salt off. Every other tooth is still pretty small slots. None of my fish could get through them.
Looks like a guy with Parkinsons disease or something did it though.
