I don’t think so. They can breed independently here in Florida, without incubation, but the babies are easy targets for predators (until their shells firm up). They can’t tolerate below 50 degrees for extended periods.would they survive in the wild?
Had these at my pet store. A little cat playpen with a heat lamp, Lettuce, zucchini, grapes, chicken and drinking water and beautiful as they mature. These and sulcate tortoise are excellent pets !!Any aquarists interested in having some redfoot tortoises? We have way too many. This is just one clutch from this season!
