Good Morning!

THIS IS A CONVERSATION BETWEEN A MAN AND HIS WIFE. PLEASE NOTE THAT SHE ASKS SEVEN QUESTIONS, WHICH HE ANSWERS QUITE SIMPLY. BUT THEN SHE IS SPEECHLESS IN TRYING TO RESPOND TO ONLY ONE QUESTION FROM HIM.

Wife: DO YOU DRINK BEER?
Husband: YES

Wife : HOW MANY BEERS A DAY?
Husband: USUALLY ABOUT THREE.

Wife: HOW MUCH DO YOU PAY PER BEER?
Husband: $5.00 WHICH INCLUDES A TIP (THIS IS WHERE IT GETS SCARY!)

Wife: AND HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN DRINKING?
Husband: ABOUT 20 YEARS, I SUPPOSE.

Wife: SO A BEER COSTS $5 AND YOU HAVE THREE BEERS A DAY WHICH PUTS YOUR SPENDING EACH MONTH AT $450. IN ONE YEAR, IT WOULD BE APPROXIMATELY $5400 CORRECT?
Husband: CORRECT!

Wife: IF IN 1 YEAR YOU SPEND $5400, NOT ACCOUNTING FOR INFLATION, THE PAST 20 YEARS PUTS YOUR SPENDING AT $108,000 CORRECT?
Husband: CORRECT!

Wife: DO YOU KNOW THAT IF YOU DIDN'T DRINK SO MUCH BEER, THAT MONEY COULD HAVE BEEN PUT IN A STEP-UP INTEREST SAVINGS ACCOUNT AND AFTER ACCOUNTING FOR COMPOUND INTEREST FOR THE PAST 20 YEARS, YOU COULD HAVE NOW BOUGHT AN AIRPLANE?

Husband: DO YOU DRINK BEER?
Wife: NO.

Husband: WHERE'S YOUR AIRPLANE?

A husband and wife got into a terrible argument. Not wanting to be home with her husband, the wife calls her mother and says, “We got into another fight. I’m coming to stay with you for a few days.” The mother responds, “No, darling. He must pay for his mistake! I’m coming to stay with YOU!”

I just talked to Angela, she’s in Austin TX till tomorrow. The breeder contacted her and said the baby Short Tailed Opossums are weaned and she SHOULD be able to pick hers up this weekend.
Shes pretty excited!

Good almost morning. I am up all night trying to get my wife an appointment for her Covid shot. This is my nightly vigil. I got mine but this is not easy. Maybe tonight I will get lucky.
Have a great night and morning. :)

Good morning everyone! Been a hot minute since I been on here. Got stitches out of my hand from trigger finger surgery last Monday. Doing physical therapy on it now.

On Feb 17th I get surgery done on my shoulder. Depending on how much repair is needed to the rotor cuff depends on recovery time. Anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks in a sling, then physical therapy for 6 weeks. I have to admit I am a little nervous about this surgery, although in the end it will be nice not having pain and limited mobility. The Doctor is going to cut off the tip of my shoulder bone. OUCH! Too much calcium build to just remove the build up. Not looking forward to this. Going to Goodwill today to pick up some XXL shirts cause the sling needs to be held against my body with no movement and shirts have to go over sling so need larger shirts in order to do this.

Hope everyone have a great day!

Good Morning Hello GIF by Mauro Gatti

This morning I baked a really nice loaf of bread.

MS is an auto immune disease and she wouldn't fare well getting Covid and she is old enough to get it, but it is a Scam and really hard to get an appointment because there are millions of people all trying to get a shot in 6 places on 100 mile long Long Island.

The roll out of this is really stupid and there is no logic. Instead of having the Geezers, many of whom don't know a computer from an AM radio in a 1955 Oldsmobile Starfire trying to get shots by asking their 50 year old children to ask their 25 year old children to get them an appointment.

There should be some sort of criteria and not just that you have to be older than 65 as that encompasses half the people in the world.

It should go by age but a much narrower band like 100 year olds first. There are maybe 8 of those. Then 90 year olds, so another 1,000 of them. then 80 year olds. and so on. When they are done, go to younger people. At least have some sort of plan that doesn't include having a Geezer like myself staying up all night trying to navigate through something more confusing than a disease forum or a quarantine thread.

Criminals in Jail for heinous crimes don't need it but Jay walkers should be in line.

People with auto immune diseases or cancer should be in there maybe right after the 80 year olds and before the bald people.
If you have a reef tank that really shouldn't have any bearing on where they place you.

I have to stop before I eat this entire loaf of bread, and I finished breakfast 3 hours ago.

Good Morning from Not to Sunny, Florida! It's 48 blipping degrees at 9:48 am. Wearing thermals and wondering what fresh heck is this?

I can't wait till it gets up to 48. We just set the record for the warmest day in February. It was 41.

Good Morning! It's a toasty 8 this morning and sunny! The town is doing a great job of cleaning up after the 8 inches of fresh snow. We reached 41 the other day and half the roads thawed out and melted. The slednecks are mad. Oh well, I just keep on keeping on. Should be a good week, winter is half over! I can't wait for summer. I hope it's on a Wednesday this year. Have a great day and stay safe!

Sending thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery on your upcoming surgery.
I went to turn on one of the overhead lights (4’ LED) in the hen house this morning and the pull chain came off in my hand. Too lazy to pull it apart to fix it so I went to the local Ace Hardware and got a new fixture. The girls are happy again. When it’s cold like this, we leave the storm covers up on the henhouse so they need more light than the two small windows can provide. Only $24 for a whole new fixture WITH two new LED tubes.
Audrey, the barn cat that we took inside almost a year ago, has a vet appt this afternoon. I caught her scooting her butt on the floor a few times. I know she doesn’t have worms so it could be something a simple as full anal glands that need to be expressed (yuck) or maybe a UTI.
Y’all have a great day and Stay Safe!
