Good Morning!

Wow, what a whirlwind! No time for good morning with a 3-year-old and 1-year-old running wild and free. Mom and dad had a surprise party to attend yesterday evening, and Grammie and Papa had to deal with trying to get little kids to eat dinner and then putting them to bed. Mom and dad tried to leave discretely, but about 30 minutes later, the baby noticed they were gone and started sobbing her little eyes out. Grammie came to the rescue and plopped her in front of the 90. Thank goodness, it was also feeding time so the fish/shrimp were swarming the glass like they hadn't eaten in a year. Crisis averted. The rest of the night was uneventful. Kids left this morning. The old people are tired! We had a great time.

Son also managed to finally change out my return pump, which was 9 years old. I figured I was on borrowed time! At least I have the old one to use as an emergency backup if needed. It needs a good cleaning...maybe next weekend. :grimacing-face: Enjoy the rest of your Sunday! :)

Soak the pump in RODI water before you clean it. Seawater forms scale as it dries and locks a pump all up. Acid removes it.
Afternoon

Mildred, a full-time RVer, was lonely after losing her husband a couple of years and many miles ago, so she posted an ad on a popular website. The ad said: “Husband wanted.” She was surprised the next morning to find she had more than a hundred replies in her inbox. Unfortunately, they all said the same thing: “You can have mine.”

Good Morning. I go walking every morning about this time but last week I joined a walking club that meets on Wednesdays. There are many walking trails here and some go on the beach where I normally go anyway. Our beaches here on the north shore of Long Island are all rocks so it's harder to walk which is a good thing if you are going for exercise.

If you are just going to rescue horseshoe crabs it isn't to easy.

Most of the walkers are "older" Ladies so I walk faster. I also walk faster because many of them are widows and I am afraid they may want to send me casserole dishes and use me as their pool boy.

Good morning. I can totally see Paul with a heard of ladies chasing him down the beach. We took Paddy out to see some of Jills friends where she used to work yesterday. He did perfect. He is going on 50 pounds and I call him Clumpy because of the sound he makes when he walks around. Paddie and Louie like to play.
Chomp Chomp Chomp smack smack smack
No damage done

Good morning. Well my daughter said she is coming back home in a couple weeks so I had to get moving and finish recaulking her shower. I finally finished it yesterday. I was procrastinating cause of the small space under the door. It’s a walk -in shower. It has a lip that sticks out and only a couple inches off the floor. And trim that goes around shower floor. So actually 3 seams I had to caulk in a 2 inch space. (Not sure what it’s called) It was not easy to remove or redo. And that part was where it was leaking the most. It may not be the prettiest but it’s finished!

The lip underneath the door.

Now I have to hire someone to fix the ceiling in the kitchen from the leak. Don’t think I can do that one and match the pattern on it.
