Good Morning!

Good morning! The hurricane is heading back to Nashville. The 3-year-old grandson is no problem, but the 18-month-old granddaughter????? Forget hurricane, that baby girl is a tornado. I've never seen anything like it! Time to put the handles on my tank cabinet and figure out how to lock it. :grimacing-face: The doors are too far apart for a regular lock...I might have to do a bicycle lock or something like that. Dog is passed out in the kitchen and will probably sleep for a solid week.

Have a great day! :)

Good morning! I also learned a valuable lesson from the toddler tornado. I usually mix several varieties of frozen cubes and feed over several days. I also have flake food, which I use occasionally and also use when needed in my auto feeder. Well, I just happened to be feeding the thawed frozen food during the holidays. The 3-year-old always wants to watch me feed the fish (and asks if they can eat about 20 times per day), but he's perfectly content to sit in my chair in front of the tanks and watch.

The toddler tornado wanted to FEED the fish. She kept pointing at my tongs/food and grunting. No way any small child is feeding the frozen food. She'd probably try to eat it! Anyway, Grammie did the most horrible thing and nicely told her no. My kids didn't throw temper tantrums. They got mad, but never threw a spread-eagle, face-down, screaming and crying, beating on the floor tantrum. This one did.

Grammie immediately switched to flake food, where each child got to hold a tiny pinch of flake food and drop it in the tanks. All was well. Bad Grammie. :grimacing-face: Lesson learned. Flake food only when the kids are in town!

Have a great day! :)

Good morning
Jasper threw a rip snorter last time he was here. He wanted the toys in my display cabinet and his dad said no.
I would let him play with some of them but if he pitched one of those old metal cars at his sister she would get a concussion.

Seems like she has lost it- but proof reader may be out of a job

Rip snorter :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:. I guess that's like a temper tantrum?! If that's the case, I saw plenty of rip snorters in the last few days!

Good morning! :) Back to reality. The old folks and young dog spent a quiet day staring at the walls yesterday. Whew! I can't imagine what it will be like the next time our Nashville family comes around, which will be with a 4-year-old, 2-year-old (the tornado), and a newborn. Maybe we'll stick to traveling there for a while...it's probably safer for all of us!

Good morning. Finally got back to working on this project yesterday. It’s not finished yet, but coming along nicely.

He loves being up in high places especially where he can look out the windows.

looks like she's in a duck blind, which if that are the case, she are dressed all wrong and definitely has the wrong dog for the job.

. I slept in the bed for the 3rd time last night since the knee.

Good morning (just barely morning). Today I have to do water changes on 2 tanks, put lights up outside, put them on the Christmas tree, unpack and put up decorations, put up a bigger than it needs to be Christmas village, mow the lawn and make dinner. I think I'll get back to work before I am seen on the computer and something else gets added to the list. Have a great day!
