Good Morning!

A very long time ago Jill's mother took an art class.
A few months ago we found her work in a large brown wrapper in a closet at their house and got them away from her Dad.
We had them framed.

These are special to us. Jean has Alzheimers now and doesn't remember any of us or what a fork or comb are.

In the first place.
I was joking. I am aware that art materials are expensive.
My free chair I am redoing already has about $75 invested in it and that isn't counting my time.
I would not compare what you make to something I found in a thrift shop.
I have several pieces of original art. I paid quite a bit more than $10 dollars for some of them. I value art on based on if I like it. Then if I can afford it I buy it.
and you would be surprised at what can be found in a thrift shop.

My humor doesn't seem to fly here. You guys are a tough crowd.

Your picture is beautiful and I would love to hang it.
Oh jeeze. I didn't mean to cause a stir. Just the same as you. I am a literal guy and the context in text is difficult for me to peal apart. I wasnt being defensive and I wasn't insulted either. :) I just thought that was what you were ready to spend. Happy and honored to send that watercolor your way. I don't need money for it. It is sitting on a shelf in my office and is at risk of being damaged.

Shoot me a pm I will send it your way.

And thanks!!!!

That is awesome work and the back story and connection make it priceless!

My grandfather was an artist and he went into sign and building painting after the service. He used to tie a board to a rope and just hang off the side of a building. He also loved to go repelling and climbing so it was just fun for him.

I like the restore...I donate a lot to them and purchase as well. :)

I asked the other day if they would trade me. I was joking but they said no.

Good Morning. I am totally stress free, Not that I ever had any in the first place, but I just got back from a week on a private Island in the Grenadines and the view from my Long Island window is just not the same.

Earlier this morning I went outside to feed the tortoises some bananas and realized we don't have them here so I ate the bananas myself.

I heard the tropical birds and went to look at them, but they were chickens.
I looked for our staff to ask them to cook breakfast, but the "staff" is still sleeping in our bed and I can't ask her anything.
If I put in my breakfast order, she would just tell me to take gas.
