Good Morning!

Snow fall and melt will be the determining things for silt and cleanliness of water. Heavy snowfall and slow melt are best. I rarely if ever see the big fluffy snow flakes. We get a very dry snow here. I am at 6700 foot elevation and usually a bit colder than the rest of the state. Very dry snow which is awesome. I cleaned my porch with a broom for years. No ice on it at all. Let me know when you want to visit Yellowstone. I work in a couple of hotels here.
You are so lucky! A few years back, I took my young son out of school for a week in October and we drove to West Yellowstone and through the park to the Northern Entrance. No one was there and everything was closed. It was so incredibly beautiful! Too beautiful for words. So peaceful and quiet. I’ve been there several times hiking and I have stayed in the magnificent Yellowstone Hotel. I went up to the 10,000 foot peak on what I think it was called Mt. Washburn. The view up there was extraordinary overlooking the Rocky Mountains. People talk about the Northern Cascades as being so spectacular here in Washington state, but they really have nothing on what you see there in Wyoming. OMG! Unbelievably craggy, jagged peaks as far as the eye can see. The other coolest thing I saw was the River that is warm. I forget what it’s called. We were there in the morning and all sorts of animals were in or near the water and it was steaming as it wound through the canyon. So beautiful. Living in Montana will be a treat for sure.

When her husband returns home at two in the morning, the wife confronts him.
"I told you two beers and home by ten o’clock!"
The man replies, "I'm sorry honey, I must have gotten the two numbers mixed up."

Good Morning! Got an inch of snow last night. It was forecasted to be partly cloudy. Might get 3 inches tonight. My guess is either a foot or 3 snowflakes. I cut my lights down to 6 hours a day and all blues to help fight a GHA outbreak. I have a BiColor Blennie in my tank and a lawnmower in my 20 gallon Mangrove. I wonder if I can put the Lawnmower in with the BiColor? I will be moving the snails over this weekend. Hopefully I can get it under control before it becomes a huge mess. Have a great day and stay safe!

Good morning.
Sunday morning is my favorite time of the week to take a walk or just sit outside with the dog. Even in the cold. I live just a mile from the interstate that runs around the city and there is always a constant roar from the road noise. But Sunday mornings it is very quiet and peaceful! Sometimes I miss living in the country just for the quietness.

Good morning everyone! I got a small percula yesterday to complete a pair. Of course, first there is the QT/observation, introduction, fight, break-up, re-introduction, fight, re-aquascaping, etc.
