spent it in a dental chair. had the permanent cap put in.
prepped for the next one.
apparently they used some cheap reef cement to put the
temp in as it already popped out, or broke.
ANNNND they are gone the rest of the weekend.:cool:

PSA (in case you forgot): It is Valentine's Day!

It is 3 degrees here in Indy. Took the dog out and filled the bird feeders. And my bluebirds are back! They come to my meal worm feeders but haven’t used the nest boxes I set up last year. Then I saw several robins trying to get to the meal worms but of course can’t, so I had to go back out in the cold and sprinkled some on the ground for then. Even our wildlife is spoiled.

Morning Everyone!
Its in the 20’s here with a “feels like” of single digits.
Our forecast is now 6-8” of snow on top of ice starting early tonite. We’re going to hit the grocery store this morning to stock up on food, the pet store for cat food and then the reptile store ( which, by the way, is right next to the LFS) for crickets for the chickens and wax worms for the baby opossum.
Anything over a couple inches of snow here shuts down the state so we may be stuck for a few days. The truck will get us through the snow but there are a lot of “yahoo’s “ here that can’t even drive when the roads are clear. Safest to stay at home.

I couldn't celebrate a day when my distant cousins

Good Morning! It was a bit nippy at -16 this morning. All in all it has been a very warm winter for us. We only got to 20 below once in October. It is supposed to snow again tonight and tomorrow. We are almost to the point where we have enough snow for the fishing to be good all summer so it should also be time to quit snowing. I can't wait to see 40 degrees again. It will be nice to wear my shorts outside again. At least it is still light at 6pm. Have a great day and stay safe!

I hope you got all your "supplies" (I'm sure you stayed out of the LFS ;Joyful ). I told our son in Nashville earlier today to STAY HOME...same forecast....same yahoos driving around!
