Morning Everyone!
Internet is finally up and running here. The guy came out yesterday and upgraded us but had to run new cable in the crawl space and also replaced the dish. Took most of the day. We are running super fast now with double the GIGS.
Angela was joking with the guy about how Amazon was probably going to send out the Sheriff to do a welfare check on me because I hadn’t ordered anything in two days.
Headed to Nashville to the LFS today for water and fish food. Seriously, NO CORALS today. I have some arriving on Tuesday from Top Shelf.

Good Morning! It's 20 here this morning and should get close to 40 again. Hopefully it will melt the 18 inches of snow we got. The other 6 feet left will still be here in April, but I'm used to it. My landlord hit my bike with his plow this winter. Hopefully the rear wheel can be trued, otherwise I will have another large bill to pay. I need cheaper hobbies. Gardening maybe? You can grow stuff here for about 4 months out of the year. That shouldn't get too expensive. Have a great day!

Good Morning Reefies.
big scare last night. thought the tank was crashing.
I used chemiclean in the morning after doing a water change.
I've used it before with no issues.
spent the afternoon/evening in the @TeamPOTO live sale buying.
(see build thread for latest purchases)
mrs. is mad at me because I was ignoring her all day (allegedly)
and smiling at the computer screen too much.
went down late to feed the tank and OMG.
almost everything closed up. fish and inverts all fine.
start scrambling. no water made after the change.
no activated carbon in the house. no where open to buy any.
talked to my friend @fishguy242.
good stuff Frank. do I own a skimmer?;Hilarious;Hilarious;Hilarious;Facepalm;Facepalm
added an air stone to the sump. added a powerhead with the air venturi.
almost all the coral shows improvement. apparently low O2.
I'll be flushing micro bubble for a month.
so water made. heading out to PetSmart for charcoal.
hopefully I get everything knocked out before the Cherry Corals Live sale this afternoon.

Good Morning. for some reason the timer of the coffee pot did not start the brew at 7 so as i sit here listening to it i will have yummy fresh coffee any minute now.

We got our first shots on Friday morning. Angela is fine buy my arm is soooooo sore. Same thing happens when I get a flu shot! I need to put some meat on my bones.
Good news!
I left the LFS with water, fish food and carbon!
NO CORALS!

Those are some beautiful corals you picked up this weekend.
So, today will be day #3 of BOTH of my shrimp being MIA!
Im not quite ready to hit the panic button yet though. Wouldn’t be the first time they have both went into hiding to shed at the same time.
Fish, corals and all other inverts look okay.

I think I spoke too soon about the COVID shots. Angela felt great till yesterday afternoon but then started getting a sore throat and headache. She has to travel tomorrow, just a short one day trip to Birmingham so I convinced her to go back to bed and take it easy today.

Good Morning! It's 22 here this morning and snowing. Looks like we are in a short Winter weather pattern for the next few days. Hopefully this is the last one. I really enjoyed the 40s and 50s. The landlord hit my bike while plowing and I finally found a shop that has the wheel he broke for me. Between the wheel and my new fly rod I could have bought a new customized tank. Oh well, at least I can go ride my bike to the river to catch fish and relax and unwind in a week or two. Have a great day and stay safe!
