Good Saturday morning! Off for a walk....probably one of our last mornings in the 50s for a while. Later this morning, I'm heading to Costco while husband whacks at a little white ball with a stick for 4 hours. Costco for me is like handing a 9-year-old a credit card and turning them loose in the world's largest toy store. Vacuum? I need another vacuum! Wait, what's that?? I'm sure I need it, whatever it is! Twelve pounds of ground beef? Sure!!

I went out early and on my way to the beach I came across this Deer. Usually they run away right away at the sight of people but this one just stared at me as I got pretty close and she didn't move.

Then I noticed a tiny, new born deer at her feet which is why she didn't move. She must have just been born.

As I walked past I got a good view of the baby but I didn't want to scare the Mother any more so I didn't stop to take a picture but you can barely see the baby to the right.

Good morning! One of the rare mornings when it's not too hot and not too cold, cool enough for a light jacket (although y'all folks up north might think the low 60s is shorts and flip-flops weather)...sitting in the porch swing on the deck with my coffee...no A/C units running to drown out the sounds...birds singing, listening to the fountains (one in the backyard and one in the pond behind us). The peacock who lives on the nearby farm is singing...crowing?...peacocking? This is my happy place, when I can't be at the beach. Have a great Sunday morning!

Good morning everyone! Today I’m going to start truly making my very first aqua ale. At the moment I’m just hanging out with my pup while I wait for laundry. Then i’lll be heading out to my brothers place to watch church with him. After that it’s dropping off the mower and then we’ll see

Well it was off to the LFS today, bad sadly for the wrong reason. Gone for a couple days and the DT is filled with iichy fish. Cleaner wrasse, cleaner shrimp, PolypLab Medic, new UV bulb. None of these will eradicate, I know, just looking to manage things. Life on the reef.

So as not to leave on such a down note, I was away for my daughter's Class of 2020 Commencement ceremony. (I shared this on another thread, sorry if a repeat).

The university president opened with a line that produced a rather raucous standing ovation "As your President, I PROMISED you a graduation. And by God, here we are!"

Most of the kids showed up. A couple might even have been sober. More stayed 6 feet apart. You can see my daughter near the top right, the blond wearing the brown hat and gown. Awesome day and night.

Mornin’ Everyone!
Looks like I missed a few days of greetings. I had a semi-relaxing weekend. Hurt my back last week so I never did buy lumber for the girls floor. That’s one thing on my list WITHOUT a check mark. I did do a major pressure washing of the henhouse though, inside and out.
Been neglecting the tank so I’m doing a big maintenance this morning. Disassembling and cleaning all the pumps, washing the InTank basket, water change etc.
Its going to be high 80’s to low 90’s here today so I may limit my chores to inside stuff. Maybe a good, long soak in the tub is in order!
