My little mutt gets the good dog award tonight. Long couple of days at work, short on sleep, high on neck pain... I just wanted to go to bed. She keeps grumbling. I begrudgingly got up to let her out and she ignores the dog door and goes to the tank. Since my ATO died, I had stuck the Sicce Ultra Zero in my top off bin. It has a ten foot house on it. I had done a top off before bed, unplugged it... Done . Nope... It created a siphon and dumped a good 4-5 gallons of fresh water in my sump. The skimmer was overflowing like mad.
I pulled the hose, dialed back and drained the skimmer... Then gave the good girl a cookie. Amazing given that she is half deaf and the tank is clear on the other side of the house!
Now, we are both going to bed. I would try to count sheep but that hasn't worked. Maybe I should count all of the fur, fin and feather babies living with @WVNed ....

power outs don't affect me.
bought the house. month later had a full house generator installed.
power goes out and i'm back up automatically in 15 seconds.
but no outages in the neighborhood. just everywhere else around us.

Good Morning Reefers. Not a very exciting morning so far. I did my walk like I am sure everybody does at 6:00am .

I walked past an impenetrable jungle that gave me flashbacks from Nam :oops:
It scared me so much that I started running. I ran so fast that after a short while I smelled something. It smelled like burning aluminum and Home Depot toggle bolts.

I looked down and noticed my knee was on fire!!!!!!!

AAAAAAaaahhhhhhhh

I didn't realize how fast I was going until I looked up to see this warning sign.






I was able to slow down while making awful screeching sounds as my "New Balance" sneakers left rubber on the road.

Then it was like any other walk. I went through a defunct horse ranch.



Then started my way back as I enjoyed the sunrise.

Have you tried synthetic oil? It used to really quiet down my motorcycle transmissions and make them run cooler.
That bionic guy on TV could do a lot better than 29mph. The whale oil and butter isn't working.

Good morning in any case. I hope the good doctor will take my marbles out and polish them. That always makes me feel better.

Good morning everyone! So I finally configured/whacked at/setup/reconfigured/poked at/reconfigured again and got my Hydros collective set up. Now my Hydros Control and Hydros Control XS function as if they are the same device on the app. I finished the plumbing last weekend for the custom RODI so hopefully this weekend I will be able to blend the new automation and the new plumbing together and have smart water!

Mornin’ Folks!
Getting a bunch of stuff done here already today. Been to the trash drop off, water change on the Nano, all my regular morning chores are done and I’m off to the grocery store And to get all the gas cans filled.
Slight chance of the wet stuff this afternoon so I may try to get some mowing done.
Dr put me back on the full dose of Pred (60mg/day) until the headache cycle is over. She said it might take a while for the Emgality to start taking full effect. MRI showed a few more “spots” which is concerning must keep a positive attitude.
Hope you all are planning something fun for the weekend. We might just head to the movies again on Sunday. Angela wants to see “Black Widow”, kick butt, “chick flick”!

Good morning!
Woke up at 3 am worrying about my healthy jawfish disappearing at night. Fired up the flashlight, saw a cool spaghetti worm, favias trying to sting neighbors and a red/white setosa loving crab. No bobbit, no mantis, nothing hungry for pearlies.
But this morning!!! This guy was hiding under a coral so with much splashing and shrieking...

@WVNed need another sump dweller?

String the the main door. face door into new cage with door open. Lift old door with string and they may fly into the new cage. Or, use thick leather gloves.
