I have 12 more to cook. Son refused to allow proof time. Him and the husband love them. Extremely fluffy. Yes, i'll be making these again.

I still have to make pastry puffs for cream puffs. My day is far from over.

the morning is just getting started, oil change, donut pick up this afternoon for tomorrow, more cookies mixing now. I am blessed and wish your mountains are climbable, your rivers crossable, and your family and friends at home when you show up.

I had my large female clown in timeout in the sump for a couple of days. My young one thought she was lonely and hungry. He threw in a plushy toy and chocolate chip cookies in there for her.

My fear…I guess the plushy toy would be better than the cookies, though!

He is also the only child in the whole family under the age of 12. He will be 3 on dec 20'th. I wonder at what age we stop leaving rooms looking like they were struck by tornadoes?

This won’t help you, but one of my sons still leaves rooms looking like they were struck by tornadoes…he’s 31. At least that’s his wife’s problem now!

It was not easy cleaning up the cookie. Im sure the pods loved what i didn't get.
The toddler and sunny dog, tore up a roll of paper towels. Scattered clothes everywhere.
I also left the kitchen a mess.
While baking today. I gained a huge respect for pastry chefs. Croissants are work.

It's now 3am, and I'm getting ready to throw a turkey on the smoker.

One good thing about insomnia, I'm up to put the turkey on early!

Good Morning and Happy Thanksgiving to all of my friends here on R2R!
Warm and windy here with lots of rain arriving later this morning.
I stayed up a good part of the night preparing for today’s dinner. Stuffing (cornbread with venison) is made, Taters are “smashed” and yams (with a bourbon, maple glaze) are all ready to go in the oven, all in casserole form of course. All the hard work is done now. Just need to pop the bird (just a breast) in the oven , prep and cook some Brussel sprouts (broiled with garlic and herbs). Please dont hate me but we got a store bought pie for dessert.
Christmas tree went up yesterday. It’s not decorated yet but I had some time and that will cut down on tomorrow’s work. We usually do it the day after Thanksgiving. Had to move most of my Orchids into the bird room because the tree goes in front of the window where the plants live year round.
Should be a relaxing day today, just the two of us.

Good Morning! thanks for the heads up about the rain, sure enough it starts at 8 and runs through the day. Well, just have to load up some towels to wipe things down as they come through the door. stay cheerful today where ever you go! sometimes the turkeys chase you!
