Good Morning. Yesterday we went up to Nyack on the Hudson River in New York to visit our kids and Grand Kids. I took my early morning walk as always and it is a beautiful but eerie sight.

I started out in the fog on the water. (this is the view from My Daughters house)


As the morning passes it gets a little better.




OK, not much.

But then, out of the mist, the Tapanzee Bridge starts to appear.


Now it is called the Governor Mario M Cuomo Bridge but everyone including me calls it the original name.

There is also a fake owl out on the last piling put there to scare the sea gulls. The only place sea gulls land is either on or right next to that silly Owl. :rolleyes:

It's the last day of 2021...thank goodness, for many reasons. Why do I love this thread? I enjoy your antics and jokes and misadventures and daily activities. I really don't participate much in the forum in general....my build thread is gathering dust (oops). I've actually been on this forum since about 2008 as a lurker...I couldn't remember my old username/password, so I just created a new one when I rebooted my 90 a few years ago. We are in different stages of life with different interests, other than those tanks that drive us crazy at times! ;):rolleyes: Some of you helped me through a horrible period this year and I thank you...you know who you are. :)

I will keep coming back to this thread because I enjoy your company. :) Happy New Year! Here's hoping for a better 2022. ;Joyful

Its been another year and we're still here together and still reefing and for the most part still healthy. We've laughed together, we've prayed together, we've shared photos and we've laughed at each others jokes.
Speaking of jokes, If I posted a joke that offended anyone, from the bottom of my heart . . . . " THERE WILL BE MORE IN 2022" !!!

I have to mention something I found amusing involving arguments on R2R. The first day or two I was on here I made a post asking why some people are concerned about provenance when buying coral. Totally harmless question, right? Well bring out the "provenance is essential" vs the "provenance is stupid" people. Wow, that got angry. I have to laugh about it now.

Everyone have a wonderful new year's eve and great new year. I really appreciate that we are all different people with different backgrounds, political beliefs, etc., but have a good time together. I wish it were that way in day to day life. You guys are great, even though I don't know most of your names, lol.

Good Morning and Happy New Year to my Reefing FAMILY!
Seems like Christmas starts earlier and earlier each year. Today, it comes down, gets packed into totes and heads back to the barn. Kinda like waiting in a really long line to board that “super insane roller coaster “. Takes forever to get to the turnstile and then it’s over in a flash. Fun ride but now it’s back to normal.
Well, the storms never showed up last night but should be rolling in sometime later this morning.
As usual, it was lights out for me at around 9:00 last night. Crawled into bed, set the sleep timer on the TV and searched the DVR for one of my favorite B&W, 1950’s horror flicks. Fell asleep watching giant ants (Them) terrorize the deserts of New Mexico.
I hope Y’all had safe, HEALTHY, & Happy celebrations last night and wishing each and every one of you the best 2022 possible!
