Also if you look to the top right there is a dark purple tube like thing growing... just wondering if both these are bad or not...

Looks like it could be a cup coral, does it move around at all.
If not what your describing also sounds like a Ball Tip Anemone.

Looks like a baby Rock Flower Anemone possibly. Is that a Rock Flower Anemone above it that's overexposed in the photo? If so, that is most certainly what it is. The purple spiral critter in the upper right is a Vermetid Snail - they send out spider web-like filaments that they use for feeding which is irritating to corals that it touches, so if the numbers increase they can become problematic.

I am inclined to think Rhodactis type, where did the rock come from?

That is a mushroom, not a Rock Flower, so that is probably not a baby Rock Flower Anemone. Honestly, there are several critters that look like your pic at that size. I'd keep an eye on it, and post back with another photo when it grows a bit.

Appears to be a cup coral yet if it doesn't have a skeleton I'm inclined to say it's a a small nem. I have the same in my tank but haven't had time to run a quick genetic test on em. If you look in your tank at night there may be more than one, seem to spread quickly.
