I got home just now and noticed these little white specs moving around on my front glass. I added ceramic media rings to my sump this morning and there was nothing on my glass. What could they be.

i got the same thing. they creep me out a little bit as they look like they move around as if they're'nt in water at all. but i was told they are good, some type of pods. i watch my fish pick them off the glass all the time, but they can't seem to keep up with how many there are. kind of like a constant food supply.

random question for you. do you feed your fish frozen brine shrimp cubes? i noticed that some of the ones have egg sacs still on them and makes me wonder if the eggs are hatching.

I have the same on my glass and as far as I can tell from research is that they are a small pod population and if you have them present you are doing something right in your tank.

I feed rods food and just received reef roids and polyp booster. I recently rearranged and glued my frags to the rocks. So now it's time settle in and watch everything grow. The lil guys on my glass have now become bigger and float in the water at night. My shrimp and goby feast at night. Crazy

I can't tell from your picture, but they are pods....most likely copepods....a good thing.
