Someone on R2R recommended this home CO2 monitor from Amazon. Hardly required, but it would be cool to track the actual CO2 in your house.
Micheal,
We open the windows for at least 24 hours per week :D

Open windows with fan blowing out / Turn on ceiling fans / Leave the AC temp alone but switch the fan from auto to on.

If my big water changes keep up with the tissue trace elements, then I'll dump the Red Sea color's program too.

(lol)
Just a tad concerned about the ph but we can move up to a 55 gallon (drum) 2nd stage drum, if need be.

The goal is not to have the need for kalk dosing. :)

It seems hard to know whether water changes are keeping up with trace elements without regular Triton testing. A year of RedSea Colors probably costs less than a single triton test, let alone multiple tests. I suspect you'll have great success with WC alone, just seems hard to actually know. You know what your corals looked like before and after AF Component 123 and now with ABC+, so you'll just follow how they look.

Your alk should be much more stable with the Ca reactor than manual ABC+ dosing, your corals should appreciate that!

I made a mistake when I took the DOS pumps down.

All the fluid of part C colors in the output tube dumped into the sump

After that, the Green acro uptop color has faded and it has some tissue rescission :(

Hopefully it will bounce back.

Shaun,
I'm a little nervous since the S-400 has already been in the grove and we need to watch the ph.
But (lol) I'm already a window opening get the Co2, out of the house junkie. If we hit low ph, we have options.

Thanks for tagging.

Freddie
I’ve got 3 x CO2 6kg gas bottles in my home all powering my bar supplied with my home made beer. (You’ve probably read about us Robin Hood folk in the shires of Nottinghamshire!) I ‘think’ CO2 is ok unless it’s at high levels or maybe you start inhaling it through a mask if your into that sort of thing!

However when I picked up the gas bottle the man gave me a scary tip and said, leave a window in the car slightly down in case the gas bottle seal fails and the CO2 all escaped into the car at pressure! Top tip there Freddie! Lol

This thing is an absolute master piece of quality and craftsmanship!!!

We have not fired up the GEO calcium reactor yet, but I'm so happy with this GLA purchase!!!

That is seriously sweet look. Congratulations.

Have you thought about posing that gorgeous tank/regulator next to a can of ABC+ powder with a spoon? ;Woot

And who ever else that is tagging ;Wacky

Welp,
Mounted the new Apex JR w/PH module and down to connecting the quick connection tubing.

Just, Some random shots of where we're at with the GEO 2 stage calcium reactor.

Getting close to "Fire in the Hole" and will let run at very high flow rate for a few days.
Want to get out all the micro-bubbles before we turn on the C02.

Still need to mount the overhead lighting in there.

Shaun,
Love your new Purple tang and (lol) Hardware keeps dropping into my shopping cart

While I was buying the reactor a bought a new backup heater and going to put it inside the S-Series overflow.
That way if the main pump blows, the recirc. pumps will keep the main display heated. Right now the S-400's backup heater is in the sump.

And we've been digging into the power center (wires) over the last couple of weeks

@2una
Can't thank you enough for showing me your S-650 setup and helping with threads on Randy's forum.
I don't think we'll need to dose kalk but if it's the case then I'll set it up to match your system and still use the built in ATO.

Freddie

To keep the solenoid from turning on/off too quickly and repeatedly adjust the co2 flow on the regulator. You want the co2 to flow fast enough to lower ph gradually, but slow enough to not drop it too quickly.

Hybird,

Thank you so much and I'm following your video's, to a tee.

We'll get her to smooth out with the Apex ph graph.

Wouldn't be here without you :)

Could be a pm or two coming your way over the next few weeks :D
