Thanks Rich,

I used the ole Eheim tubing, in the microwave trick, over the weekend.

To move the GFO reactor to the right side.

Simple, but effective.
Your sump is neat Freddie. I can see the R2R sticker! :D

Alright went home for lunch...

The original is a Red Sea Sicce rated at 1,850 gph.
It does have an elbow, because it sits up high and sucks in air.

The Abyzz A100 is rated at 1,880 gph, but up to 2,200 gph in boost mode.

Water line and sump line before I took the Red Sea down, has to run at 100%, it's an AC,

Yep, higher water line and lower sump line, so the Abyzz is pushing more flow.

But.... The Abyzz is only pushing at 57%

Welp,
Kinda speaks for itself.... :D
Do you have your Abyzz hooked into a Apex or other power meter? I have both of my A200’s hooked into my Apex and they are reading 3 watts less then the Abyzz display shows. I just can’t believe how silent they are compared to my previous Sicce pump!

Hitman,
I'm running the Abyzz as a stand alone and not thru Apex.

Lol!!
Can't hear the A100, even if the room is deadsilent... ;Singing ;Singing

Got back my 10 year warranty "certificate" from Germany this week, by email.

I just have it plugged into one of my eb832’s for now as I’m still waiting on the Apex connection cables to come back in stock.
I totally forgot about registration for the pumps I better do that before I forget again lol

Did you have to downsize the exit pipe to your plumbing Freddie ?

I saw that picture, the Abyzz I believe has 40/50mm exit options and I’m guessing your plumbing pipes are not that big?

Each Abyzz model is different, Shaun

The A100 metric output comes to about .98 of an inch without the adapter ring on.

The slip adapter ring is made to fit an US 1" slip union. The slip is wider than 1", but it's smallest inside diameter is 1"

So from the pump all the way up, plumbing to the manifold has an 1" inside diameter.

So, we did not downsize from the pump's output, all the way up to the manifold.

Shaun,
Got lucky that the Red Sea USA parts were made to handle 1" (inside diameter} fittings too.... :p

Freddie

What a pic Freddie !

I will go to the Critter also but later today to buy RS sockets.
Outstanding!

Thanks,
Kinda cool with her looking straight on...

@PanchoG
Just got back home. Bell Road was busy.

They have the new Reefleds on their S-650. They are higher than the bar (like you said), but the holding boxes for those leds are pretty nicely done. The tank looked run down and the fish are diseased too... :(

I wish that you and @Frizzles7 could have seen that S-650 in it's hey day.

Second to none with monster acros to the hilt, but it went down when the plays that used to be in it, went nuclear.
He lost his heart after that happened.

I saw one couple offer him over 30 grand for that tank, and it just made him mad... , about the principle of the matter.
