There is one picture that you have that looks like someone tried to frag an SPS colony, but left the frag next to it. LOL! (fourth one in the lobo post)

That last acro reminds me of a. secale, but also looks a bit like an a. abratonoides too. How big were the stalks? Great turtle pics! Never can get that close to them here.

So who's in for a "GBR Group Trip"?!?

Great pics man... I'm sitting here looking at a foot of snow out the window and am contemplating running right out of work!

That anemone you posted a couple pages back is outlandish!!! I'd get rid of SPS to keep that bad boy!

KILLER HIGHLIGHT #2.....the common white tip reef.....honestly, my first time ever swimming with a shark....I was so thrilled! he came through a gully-like opening in the seabed...moving slowly ...and gone before I knew it! luckily, I managed to grab some video of him...will post it later on

Man a few of those new pics make parts of that reef look like it might be in a little trouble especially the first few pics. There is allot of algae on some of that reef. Holy cow there are some beautiful corals though...

actually, the reef was in splendid shape...only the odd bald spot here or there ;)....but FWIW, I doubt it's a bleaching incident....the GBR has been quite lucky.

as for algae....I saw it all over the place ...but no bryopsis that I could see! haha
