That is 80 lbs?
Must not be too porous.
I hope that pic is only one box.
If not I just ordered 2 boxes and already feel cheated lol.

That tank is a lot bigger than it looks. If @Markhoh3 posted a pic of a 12oz can in it you would be able to tell the real size of the rock.

That was 2 boxes. I think there was 17 pieces. All fairly big.

Tank is 30 inches tall and 48 inches long. Can of Pepsi in the center of tant for reference.

@Markhoh3 My last tank was a 30 tall 150. It was quite the challenge to build up the rock structures. I ended up drilling the rock and using acrylic rods to stack them. I was glad I did because I kept the rock and was able to reuse it in my new tank. About 120 lbs.

That's what I plan on doing. Probably add another 70-80 pounds I have already. Plan is to make a tall island on the right side land lower it to the left about 2/3 over.

anyone out there on R2R mix the 2?
I always thought this this looks dirty? maybe that the dry once wet that dirty/grittyness goes away?

I paid that for a 20lb box last time I ordered it really good deal

So did I had just received 160# of rock from PetSmart thinking I snagged a deal at $70 for20# but I could not return if not I would have. So far I have 220# of rock for my new 310 build. I think I’m good with what I have in mind for my aquascape May even by the little one a WB20 for her birthday and give her a couple pieces as well.

Dang! That’s a great deal! I’ve been paying $5 a pound at my lfs for this stuff. I’ve already got thirty pounds in my 45 gallon, but I’m gonna get a box of this for sure to finish off the scape. Then I can use the left over as reasoning to start a frag tank or get a sump lol.
