Green Canary Blenny

Anybody have first hand experience with the Green Canary Blenny?
Looking to complete my stocking list for my 220g. and want something a little less common.

I have bundoon blennys which is similar. Peaceful...curious blenny personality... Sleeps plastered to the glass at night. Otherwise always out in the water column. Sometimes they come in really skinny...they are active and would benefit from multiple feedings to fatten them up.

Once I keep with a firefish and gobies. My other is with a anthia and wrasses.

I also have Wrasse, Anthias, and Gobies and feed 3 times a day.
I'm a little concerned about my Redlipped Blenny, even though they won't share the same swimming area.

I had one. Unfortunately it didnt make it through qt. Store gave it to me because they thought it was a goner, I tried to save it. Very active fish and beautiful coloration. Just wouldnt eat. I'm guessing internal issues.

I had one in my 29g for about 18 months before it jumped. (They sleep vertically against the glass along a tank seem. Didn't realize it got spooked in the middle of the night by a light turning on in an adjoining hallway. Anyhow...)

Great fish. Inquisitive, active throughout the water column. Not shy. Not aggressive to other fish. At any pellets or meaty foods I put in the tank. Completely ignored my tailspot blenny.

Like it so much I decided I'll never have a tank without a fang blenny in it. (Replaced it with a black line ... just for a change of pace. And just added 3 Smith's to my 65g.)

Your redlipped blenny should be fine with it. Different behaviors, different body shapes, and not direct competitors for food (ominvore versus carnivore). They'll likely just ignore each other.

The only thing that 'might' be at risk would be anemone shrimp if you have any.

All good to hear. I don't have any small shrimp because I have quite a few Wrasse.

I love fang blennies, awesome reef fish.

Very peaceful and more aggressive fish usually leave them alone because of the venomous fangs.

Most of my fish are pretty passive except my Redlipped Blenny. She likes to bite me when I put my hand in the tank.

I have one and very active they are peaceful although, I have seen my green canary blenny (fang fish) attack my cleaner snail. I’m a bit worried. Also, my clownfish unexpectedly died today I don’t know if it was because of the salinity was a tad bit high or the canary blenny probably killed it. It was the only one that died and the rest of the fish are fine so it wasn’t probably because of the salinity being a bit high or the rest of the fishes wouldve also died. I don’t know.
