Hey guys, got this green candy frag. It's been about a week now and looks like this. Is it supposed to open up more? Or is it not happy?

I think you should target feed it for 2-3 times for a week.
Continue for several weeks , to see if it's getting better, but you should confirm that your water parameters are all right.

Just checked parameters:
Nitrite/ammonia: 0
Calcium: 420
Nitrate: 10ppm (gotta start dosing vinegar again)

Maybe I can get it higher in the tank for more lighting

Mine are significantly puffier and full looking; I agree that yours looks like it is at least unhappy and may be receding

What is your lighting and flow? I have mine poking out of my substrate and they seem to be doing well.

I would suggest less light from my experience tissue receding is due to too high of light. Corals IME will let you know they need more light by extending polyps towards light or getting really puffy looking.

ARE YOU READY TO CONFESS TO CRAZIEST, DUMBEST, FUNNIEST THING YOU’VE EVER DONE IN REEFING?
