Green chromis disease

I had recently purchased two green chromis about a week ago. the green chromis has white blotches all over them, and they're not tiny small dots like ich, just white blotches. Two fish stores told me different things and im wondering if i should take him out of my tank cause i have two other fish in there.

Skin discolored and may be due to aggression, not uncommon with these guys

Those white scale marks can be injuries from tankmate aggression, or sometimes mucus from some infection.

Do BOTH green chromis have these marks, or just one of them? Generally, green chromis do best if kept as one fish, or in groups of 5 or so. With just two - the chance of one picking on the other increases greatly.

Both chromis did end up having them, and I saw one of the chromis pecking at the other one, any tips to get them to stop or should i return them?

Separation/isolation and often adding a third chromis may stop this as they are best in odd numbers

If both fish have spots, the issue may not be from fighting - unless the fish are evenly matched and doing damage to each other.

Can you put a tank divider in?

I can't put a fish divider in due to all my rocks, do you think adding another chromis will break them up from all the fighting or should i rehome them?

Adding more fish to try and defuse aggression usually just makes things worse.
