Green slime on tank

Hello

I am fairly new to the tank world maybe a year or so and I have for the most part been winging it. I do regular tank changes every week about half of my 75 gallon tank but I notice a green film on the side of my tank about two days after. I really think it's got something to do with my lighting, I have two HD primes mounted and set Uv 90, vio 90, Db 100, blues 100, green 4, red 4, cool white 18. I really think I need another light or to mount them differently. If any of you can help me with this I would really appreciate it. I have attached a picture so you can get an idea of tank and light. The picture was taken when the lights are off so I don't know if that will help. Thanks in advance for having me and any help.

Does your tank get direct sunlight? How new is the set up? How long are the lights on for?

How often do you have the lamp next to the tank on? Regular light bulbs can grow some mean algae.

What’s your water parameter? Are you using RODI water. Clean filtered water with 0ppm is very important and is usually the problem if not the light. Happy reefing

Welcome!!! As Ewok1 states, source water is often a culprit for what you are experiencing. Generally, as much detailed information about your tank, parameters, husbandry, filtration, flow, inhabitants, tank placement, environmental influences, etc. are needed to properly help you diagnose what the root causes of problems are. Give us every bit of info and we'll help you tackle this.

Did you say you're doing 50% water changes on a 75g weekly?
I won't argue if you have a compelling reason to do so, but that seems excessive at first blush.

Might just be hard for your tank to settle into a groove with so much going on.
