Hello everyone!

My name is Jessica and I am new to the forum and to reef tanks. I have been helping my son keep freshwater tanks for a while now, but my whole life I have been really drawn to reef tanks and there is now finally a time in my life where that is somewhat doable so I decided to go for it. I have been researching for weeks and just bought a used Red Sea Max Nano AIO setup with some upgraded parts, got it thoroughly cleaned out and am just getting ready to add water. I know the 20 gallon tank will be a bit harder to do getting started but my apartment building has a 25 gallon limit on tanks (which I have chosen to interpret as 25 gallons per tank and not total :face-with-tears-of-joy:) so I did a lot of research on nano setups and decided this was the best setup for me. I have also been bothering every LFS employee in a 20 mile radius to pick their brains on everything nano-tank with mixed results, but I am lucky to live in Portland Oregon and have a fairly large pool of marine aquarium stores to choose from and have gotten some really great advice there too. I am sure as things progress I will have lots of questions for the forum as well! I would love to connect with people in my area too.
