Hello all!

I've been lurking here for a little bit and finally decided to be more active on this forum. I have a 55 gallon reef tank that is slowly coming into its own and getting out of an ugly stage thanks to Vibrant.

For fish I've got 2 clowns, OJ Swimpson and Fin Diesel, a lawnmower blenny, Blennyfish Cumberbatch, carpenter's flasher wrasse, Scarlett Johanfin, and three firefish that I'm still workshopping names for.

For inverts, my tank houses 5 turbo snails, 1 blue tuxedo urchin, Cuddles, 1 rose bubble tip anemone, Squishy, and a cleaner shrimp. There were three peppermint shrimp, too, but they turned into murderous devils and started eating Squishy and picking at the couple of zoas I have.

I don't have any great pictures of my full tank, but here's one of my firefish being confused by the live brine shrimp I fed the tank a little while back.

Welcome! Glad you joined. I love dartfish, but my firefish tried out for Olympic surfing team while canopy door was open... unfortunately I found it on floor to late for another tryout. Fortunately my purple dartfish hasn't been able to attend any tryouts so its thriving, but I do miss my red one (little more brave and outgoing).

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:

I will have to do that!

Coincidentally, my wrasse did as wrasse do and found the one opening in the tank cover and leapt to explore the rest of the house while my wife and I were at work. I was sad to find it outside the tank well beyond any chance of rescue. However, it ended perfectly centered on the top of our Roomba and I have to assume it had an exciting ride.
