I have this really nice mat of GSP on my back glass. I have been increasing flow to start keeping some SPS coral but it has the unintentional side effect of creating pockets of flow behind the GSP and now is peeling off the glass. Super glue not working, bought some reef safe magnets that I hope will keep it on glass so it can attach again.

Any other ideas that may help?

This is the eventual end of all GSP walls I’ve seen.

Glass is way too smooth for GSP to stay anchored long term

It will be fine for quite a while, but once it gets a bit too heavy, a gap forms, and when water gets in, it’s game over and it will separate.

Interesting that you've seen this before, thank you for sharing. Is the GSP itself game over too, or can it reattach to a rock or something else?

Oh the GSP is perfectly fine, you can cut off a chunk and glue it to a rock and it will be IMPOSSIBLE to remove from rocks.

The porous surface on rocks definitely help them grip.

Thank you for the info here!

Do u mean super glue or coral glue? Coral glue is more like a gel which should work as it is thick and also crates a form of a cushion to fill the gaps under the gsp and should work normally.
