GSP HELP!!!!

Hey guys wife just got her GSP delivered and the water was very smelly and the packaging was absolutely freezing here is a pic

What do you make of this? i drip acclimated it then put it in tank lights are currently off on tank so will take and uploads pics later when light is back on

Cheers guys wife is going frantic as shes convinced it is dead given the cold and the smell

Smelly is never a good sign. Send some pics after it has been in your tank a bit. Best case, there isn't tissue loss, and it opens up after a week or so.

You can’t kill GSP if you try IME. That stuff is pretty bullet proof.

And I’m only being half sarcastic. I do think yours will be fine.

I had a small piece that stayed closed for nearly 2 years. Not exaggerating. Then opened one day and started growing like crazy.

just remember it will spread everywhere so strategic placement is key for control.

float the bag to temp acclimate.
don't need to drip acclimate.
dip if your dipping.
into the tank it goes.

ike i said will keep you posted the wife has loads of room in her tank but will make here aware that GSP is fast growing and will take over if not kept in check lol
