Those pictures look great! Did you take a full tank shot?

So are you just working on the phytoplankton right now to feed the copepods?

Still waiting on a different lens. It is impossible to get a full tank show until I get a more distant lense. Yeah the phyto are for pods.

I regret not ordering any. I do need some, but I need a specific size and shape

The purpose of the order was to try to do it in bulk, that way we could share some of the shipping charges, that is a lot of what makes it hard for people to do an order, especially if you do not need a lot. Plus I am not picky on size and shape, you could have just picked what you wanted. I ordered from @LiverockRocks and it should be here Monday night, I will drive to the airport to pick it up since it be in water not newspaper. I am going to monitor it for predators for a few weeks and get out anything that is troublesome. I need the biodiversity and I know people say "well dead rock will become live rock" but it takes way, way longer than people think. Sure you get some bacteria build up on the rock but this is a major shortcut on getting a tank full matured. If it ends up not being enough I may do another order in a few months, I am not sure yet.

We do our best to accommodate customers requesting specific sizes and/or shapes and or hitchhikers.
(Examples: all arches, one shelf, 7" x 7", long thin rocks, boulder shapes, no macro, yes macro, 12" branch, feather dusters on rock, cryptic sponges, etc.)

If you do an order at the end of the year or next year, I'll probably get some rock.

It is fairly likely, really depends on how much it fills the tank up. Plus I have a few pieces of petco rock that is just pure garbage and concrete like, that needs to go once the tank starts maturing.

Proposition here. I think we all need to occasionally give each other some type of rubble or sand (preferably both). We all likely get coral, rock, water and sand from different places. Your tank needs as much biodiversity as it can get.

I think that's a great idea

And if anyone drops by, if they have some softy I do not have, I take donations. Think of it this way, you are insuring your tank. You never know when you could have a complete loss and I could frag it back to you.

I don't have many frags atm... I do have a few zoas I could easily frag though: LA Lakers, Scrambled Eggs, Alpha Omega.

Hey guys, how's everything been going? I just got out of the hospital, I was admitted with pancreatitis :loudly-crying-face:, but the tank survived. I do have a couple of recessed heads on a torch (for reasons unknown), but other than that it, everything's great.

My project for this weekend is making some dosing containers out of glass 800ml Voss water bottles. They're turning out pretty nice for the price - $4 per bottle, $4 for a 1/4" bulkhead.

Still trying to figure out why some of my zoanthids are closing, had to add fish today because my nitrates refuse to stay up.
