Gyres

Hi all

I have a 70inch long tank and two gyres xf330. Is it possible to set up them to produce waves? I used to have two Jebao RW8 and they produced a nice wave motion. Thanks in advacance.

You can get a wave going with a pump on each ends of your tank, but dont expect a huge wave. I had 2 on my 4ft tank and it wasnt that impressive.

xf330 seems small for a 70in tank.

I run them on 50% only...they do clog a lot, its a monthly cleaning job...I've heard that its a common issue, they require more maintenance. I've copied CJ's settings, lets see how they perform...
I used to run 2 Jebaos on a smaller reef and the wave motion was incredible. But Jebaos fail too frequently.

On its specs say one is for:

Model Name	XF330
Suitable for Aquarium	100-500L/26-132 US Gal

I have two of them on a 6ft tank.

I have 2 on my 4ft tank and running them at 100% and still have lack luster results. 1 jebao DMP40 easily blew them out of the water.
