I’ve had this hammer coral for a little over 2 weeks and for the past 2-3 days it’s been closed. I’m not sure what the problem is. I’m guessing it’s flow but I’ll list my parameters for the 15g it’s in.

Salinity 1.023
Nitrate 9.0
Phosphate 0.04
Alk 8.0
Temperature 77-79

Salinity is a little low.

Is there goo/jelly on it? That would not be good. If there's no goo, then it might just be being temperamental and slow to acclimate.

Did you dip it before putting it in the tank?

There isn’t any jelly on it from what I can see and I did do a coral dip. But the coral was doing fine for 13 days, opening during the day and closing at night. Then all of a sudden it’s been closed for the past 3 days.

Maybe some other tank inhabitant bothered it. What else is in there? There are a lot of "reef safe with caution" critters that I have found NOT to be reef safe at all.
