I've had this hammer for about 8 months. The bottom of his stalks have always been a green color, not that pink fleshy color. I feel like the green part is becoming more prevalent lately. Is that his skeleton starting to show? Or is this normal to look this way? Also he has always had lots of babies sprouting on his stalks but they never seem to grow. Picture attached.

As they grow up and out, the flesh recedes a little with the head so that it can create branches and the heads separate. That all looks like normal growth to me.

Once they start growing their lower skeleton often emerges. It’ll fill out and be hidden in a year or so though.
Here’s mine, just over a year ago it looked like yours but with 2 heads only.
