I've seen a lot of threads on best this, best that or favorites but what about those fish or others with handicaps that survived their accident and thrived?

Ours is a typical mandarin, got him very tiny, 6 years later and he's definitely in the big boy club. One day feeding which he normally hides from as it's a total crap show when raw hits the water. The huma huma dove for a chunk and accidentally clamped onto the mandarins face as he tried to bolt and swam around shaking him until he fell loose having torn his right eye and socket clear off and ate them.

Fast forward a week and a half of no sign of him he emerged healed and thriving. It's been 6 months since the incident and he's doing fantastic!
