So I am moving my grow out tank into my garage. I need to hang lights over it and am struggling a little because of the height. Just with the eyeball the ceiling looks to be 14-15 feet high. Would you just use standard wire? Anything else to consider?

You can use wire. It has the same strength whether it is 2 feet or 20 feet so no worries.

If you don't want to hang it that far, you could build a rail over the tank and hang from that. It would be less swinging of the light fixture.
